The Baby Bib is backstrap woven by the Fair Trade Sololá Weaver’s Group in the Guatemalan highlands. The Sololá Weaver’s Group is made up of 22 Kakchiquel mayan women who make finely woven backstrap pieces using traditional tie-dye technique called Ikat (or jaspe). The group is made up of widows and their daughters who came together to earn a living after the violence of the 1980’s. Each bib is adorned with a traditional Mayan animal design and comes in a variety of bright colors. Adjustable closure to fit all babies and tots. This bib is made of 100% cotton yarn, using non-toxic dyes. Sold individually
